Womb Surround

A gentle return to the earliest layers of yourself.

A Womb Surround is a small, deeply held group experience that offers an opportunity to explore the earliest foundations of life, relationship, and belonging.

Together, we slow down enough to listen to the wisdom of the body, the nervous system, and the stories that began long before we had words.

Many of the patterns we carry today were shaped during our earliest experiences of conception, pregnancy, birth, and infancy. These experiences continue to influence how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world.

Within a carefully supported environment, there is space for those early experiences to unfold, reorganize, and move toward greater ease.

What happens during a Womb Surround?

Each gathering is unique.

Through gentle group process, embodied awareness, nervous system regulation, movement, touch (always with consent), and relational support, participants are invited to explore their own experience at a pace that feels safe.

There is nothing to force or figure out.

We simply create the conditions where your own innate healing intelligence can emerge.

Who is it for?

A Womb Surround may be supportive if you are experiencing:

  • recurring relationship patterns

  • a longing to feel more deeply connected

  • anxiety or chronic stress

  • difficulty trusting yourself or others

  • a sense that "something has always been missing"

  • a desire for deeper self-understanding

  • a wish to experience more ease, joy, and belonging

No previous therapeutic experience is required.

The approach

This work is grounded in:

  • Pre- and Perinatal Psychology

  • Somatic awareness

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Relational healing

  • Developmental understanding

It is offered in the lineage of Dr. Myrna Martin and the Castellino Foundation Training.

Rather than trying to "fix" you, we trust that your body already carries an inherent blueprint toward healing. Our role is simply to create the conditions where that wisdom can be heard.

(I actually love this because it reflects one of your central principles: What is already trying to happen?)

What makes this different?

Many approaches begin with the story you remember.

Womb Surround work begins before memory.

It recognizes that our earliest experiences are held in the body, the nervous system, and our relational expectations long before language develops.

When these early layers are met with enough safety and support, new possibilities often emerge naturally.

Healing becomes less about changing who you are and more about remembering who you've always been.

The experience

Your first Womb Surround includes:

  • Friday evening arrival and shared dinner

  • Full-day gathering on Saturday

  • Full-day gathering on Sunday

  • A small group of no more than three participants

  • Two trained assistants supporting the space

  • Nourishing meals

  • Time in nature

  • Integration and reflection throughout the weekend

Keeping the group intentionally small allows each participant to receive individualized attention while also experiencing the healing potential of community.

A note from Aliyah

For over eighteen years I have studied Pre- and Perinatal Psychology, relational healing, and somatic approaches through the lineage of Dr. Myrna Martin.

What continues to inspire me is the profound intelligence of the human system.

Again and again, I witness that when people experience enough safety, presence, and compassionate relationship, healing begins to unfold naturally.

It is an honour to walk alongside that process.

We all began life in relationship.

Before we knew language, our nervous systems were already learning:

Am I welcome?

Am I safe?

Do I matter?

Those earliest experiences continue to shape how we move through life today, often outside of conscious awareness.

We are not trying to become someone new. We are creating the conditions to remember who we have always been beneath the adaptations that once helped us survive.
